Turning insurance-premium finance workflows into document automation, integration APIs, and practical engineering roadmaps.
From business workflow to working system
At Imperial PFS, I worked with business and technology leaders to translate operational needs into software and automation. I collaborated directly with the CIO and VP of Engineering on engineering roadmaps and communicated product progress and technical direction to executive leadership.
One substantial effort was redesigning insurance-premium loan document validation with department leadership. I owned discovery, architecture, and vendor delivery using UiPath and intelligent document processing. The redesign reduced document-validation labor costs by at least $300,000 a year.
Integrations and automation
- Led API design and implementation with C#, .NET, and microservices to support customer-facing integrations and data ingestion.
- Developed the File Drop Integration proof of concept to simplify customer file submissions. It earned positive client feedback on usability and reduced manual processing.
- Delivered a contract-processing automation pilot within a fixed budget, replacing manual workflow steps with third-party integrations.
Supporting delivery
I also strengthened the engineering practices around these systems: automated testing, CI/CD, containerization, dependency checks, and coordinated Angular and .NET upgrades.
